Anyone who has played the game knows two things for certain. Your are going to be running a lot and you better stay hydrated. Elite level soccer players run on average about 6-7 miles a game at various speeds. The majority of the game is at low intensity where players are walking and jogging, but for approximately 6-7 minutes a game players are sprinting near top speed for short distances.
